Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 officially introduced. Following another round of rumors and leaks, Xiaomi has officially revealed its flagship Xiaomi 12 series in China. As previously announced, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU is only available in the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. Xiaomi 12 specifications, features, and price

This is the simplest model in the collection, with fewer features. As predicted, it will include a rectangular rear camera hump with one main camera housing, two small camera housings, and an LED flash, similar to the Mi 10T. In the center of the room, there is a punch-hole screen. It weighs 180 grams and is available in four colors: classic black, blue, purple, and wild green.

The screen is 6.28 inches diagonally, which is relatively modest for an AMOLED display. It has a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1100 nits, and a 419ppi pixel density. The 12-bit display has a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus layer and has reportedly broken 15 DisplayMate A+ records.

The phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, as well as up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

A 50MP main IMX766 camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with a field of view of 123 degrees, and a macro camera are among the three back cameras offered. There is also a 32MP front camera. The phone is touted to have fast imaging and photography capabilities, including CyberFocus technology for human eye tracking, face tracking, sports tracking, and better video tracking, according to the company.

It includes a 4,500mAh battery that can charge at 67W fast and 50W wireless. It has a 5G connection, Wi-Fi 6, improved network connectivity, a HARMAN Kardon audio system, and more. MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12, comes pre-installed.

The Xiaomi 12 comes in three RAM+ storage options, priced as follows:

8 GB+128 GB for CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs 43,3000), 8 GB+128 GB for CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs 43,3000).

For CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 46,800), you can get 8GB + 256GB.

CNY 4,399 (approximately Rs 51,500) for 12GB + 256GB.

Xiaomi 12 Pro specifications, features, and pricing

Xiaomi's top-of-the-line smartphone is the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Its design is similar to that of the Xiaomi 12, but with subtle changes. With the exception of a leather finish on the Wild Green version, the device is available in the same color options as the vanilla model.

The phone has a 6.73-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, and a peak brightness of 1500 nits, as well as a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection layer. The LTPO screen is compatible with Micro-Lens microprism technology as well as Smart Dynamic Refresh Rate Technology. Furthermore, 15 DisplayMate A+ records have been smashed.

As expected, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, making it the second smartphone to launch with the current flagship chipset, after the Xiaomi 12.
